When I consider how different my adult dating life has been with my adolescent dating, it is quite amusing or at least very obviously 'evolved'. At least that's my personal opinion. Perhaps outsiders would consider me a dating infant, and I am just fooling myself thinking I am a good partner or sophisticated. Regardless, I remember being a fumbling bumbling idiot on most of my so-called dates as a teenager and even in my early adult dating age. Basically, once I made it past my mid twenties I seemed to have gotten the hang of the whole ritual a bit better. I say this due to the fact that I was much more comfortable with myself, I had a much better time on the dates, and the women I was with also seemed to enjoy themselves much more than I had previously recalled. I knew I had passed into what I would later regard as my adult dating age, when I felt as if myself and a woman had fallen in love. I suppose that this can happen to someone as a younger person, although it didn't happen to me that way and I have always equated adult dating with the month that I fell in love with Sandra.

I have been having a lot of really fun dates in the last month since I began to try internet dating. I was used to going to hang out in bars and clubs and meeting guys but they were never really the kind of guys that I liked. There was a time in my life in which I involved myself in the swingers crowd/lifestyle. It was a lot of fun, but also had many complications. One instance was with a couple that I had played with and ended in jealousy. I have not kept in much contact with them, but do know that things worked out between them or at least that they went their own ways. Swingers are an interesting type of people because they can be very open minded. Some date several people and have a girlfriend and a boyfriend, while others just do it for sex. I have even met a few swingers that take the dating process very seriously. This was quite enjoyable for me since the process of going on dates appeals to my needs of relaxation and fun. The dates that I have been on have ranged from candle light dinners to a night at the bar, but not all dates ended in sex. I have met a few swingers in which I would just converse with, exchanging stories and learning from one another. It is very enjoyable to hear what other things exist and that I still have yet to encounter. After six months of being a swinger, I chose to try a closed relationship. This worked great for a few months, seven to be exact, but I always craved the female gender. My best mate and myself went swinging week before last, and it had to be one of the best days of my life. We took the train across the river and talked about our plans for the next few hours. We would stop off at Bernie's and have a quick bite while watching newlyweds embrace over a cheap glass of wine.
