Whilst I did my working holiday visa in Australia I liked dating men. I found the guys incredibly gorgeous looking. Dating men there was so very exciting. My friends in England were jealous of me dating men that were so much better than the ones back home.

I got my first job In a northern suburb of Sydney working in a factory packing paper into handbags. There was a jolly working sort of working atmosphere. We played music and didn't have to work all that hard. One of the guys there, Bruce, invited me out to a dance hall. It played eighties music and we had a good grove to all the tunes. He was a lovable sort of man with a cheeky grin.

At the weekend he got me on the bus to Palm Beach and we climbed up to the head with views to the blue ocean and the green national park. He held me in his arms and said he wanted to spend lots more time with me. We kissed and cuddled whilst we watched the sky turn orange in the sunset. It was challenging to walk back down there in the dark. It took ages and we only just caught the last bus.

I only had one year in sunny Australia and I wasn't allowed to work for any employer for more than three months. So I decided to move on to Brisbane. Bruce wasn't at all happy with that. Our last evening together was quite sad. He said he loved me and he didn't want me to go. However I had to get moving because I had then got enough of staying in Sydney.

When I got to Brisbane I looked at a newspaper. I rang up about a job to look after two kids. I went to meet the family with a suburb near the university. They had a boy aged 6 months and a girl aged 3 years old. It was at the weekend that I was out with the neighbours child carer Louise that I met Fraser. He was from Western Australia and he was on business in Brisbane. We got on well from the word go. He was so lovely looking and his accent was really great. He and I went out on a date to the Glass House Mountains. We held hands and kissed once we reached the top of the mountain. He wanted to keep me forever and he invited me to move to Perth to become his loving partner. Dating men had its pluses but I had found my darling soul mate.
