There was a time in my life in which I involved myself in the swingers crowd/lifestyle. It was a lot of fun, but also had many complications. One instance was with a couple that I had played with and ended in jealousy. I have not kept in much contact with them, but do know that things worked out between them or at least that they went their own ways. Swingers are an interesting type of people because they can be very open minded. Some date several people and have a girlfriend and a boyfriend, while others just do it for sex. I have even met a few swingers that take the dating process very seriously. This was quite enjoyable for me since the process of going on dates appeals to my needs of relaxation and fun. The dates that I have been on have ranged from candle light dinners to a night at the bar, but not all dates ended in sex. I have met a few swingers in which I would just converse with, exchanging stories and learning from one another. It is very enjoyable to hear what other things exist and that I still have yet to encounter. After six months of being a swinger, I chose to try a closed relationship. This worked great for a few months, seven to be exact, but I always craved the female gender. My ex boyfriend had suggested having a threesome, but I am the jealous type usually and did not like this idea. This is also due to a past experience in which an ex of mine fell in love with a girl we "played" with. After my ex boyfriend broke up with me, I immediately returned to the swinging lifestyle and have not looked back. It is a great feeling to be able to do as you wish and not have others holding you back. With the help of a very close friend, now my boyfriend, I have been able to find both love and the joy of swinging. We are in an open relationship and both have feelings or at least the want to be with a particular girl. It is a very fun experience for the both of us and I am thankful to have someone as special as him to share it with. If I could go back and change things in my life, I wouldn't.
