I have been having a lot of really fun dates in the last month since I began to try internet dating. I was used to going to hang out in bars and clubs and meeting guys but they were never really the kind of guys that I liked. It seems that this town has a real lack of sweet guys; most of the ones I met were cocky and rude. So I looked for some internet dating sites and to my very pleasant surprise I found a lot of credible sites. Sure there are a lot of sites that are for the more frivolous person but I was looking for down to earth people and I found the site that suited me perfect.

During me first week I only met one guy I really got along with, we have had two dates since then and are still communicating weekly. I did not feel an exact connection with him for datingbut he is a lot of fun to hang out with. He's probably going to be more of a best friend type than a boyfriend; we still have never even given each other a kiss. So as you can see these internet dating sites are not just for finding love, they are also very handy in helping you find great people that you can get along with very well.

Last week I had two more dates with 2 different guys, one of themis a professor at a university and I really, really liked him a lot. He is a bit more serious than I normally like but he is also so smart. He made me feel very comfortable and never showed off his superior intellect. All I need to do is get around that serious manner and I think we can have a great match. At the end of our date he told me he would be calling me later on in the weekend, since he's very busy during the week. I am anxiously waiting to see him again but will date other guys too.

So that is my experience so far on this internet dating journey am I now on. I hope to have many more dates with really interesting guys and eventually hoe to find the one. It may have taken me a long time to get into this new internet dating worldbut now I am glad that I have become a member and fan of these sites.
