I went on holiday for two weeks to Central America. It was so exciting to get packed up. Inside my purse was a picture of my idol: Tom Cruise. The flight lasted for twelve hours. I arrived at Cancun Airport and took a bus as far south as I could before night fall. I ended up staying at a funky backpackers. The next day I carried on my journey to Belize City. I took a boat over to Caye Caulker and saw the orange sunset over the ocean. I stayed for five days and I did much snorkelling. I saw some stingrays and some nurse sharks. Wow!

I caught a boat back to the mainland and then a bus inland. I went to stay at a tree house in Bullet Tree Falls. It was so very special to go on a cave adventure where I saw Mayan pottery and old bones. I took at taxi to some majestic looking Mayan ruins. I went up the Temple of the Lost World to see the orange sunset. I had such a fascinating time.

On my way back to Cancun on the coach I thought that when I got home I would like to improve my life. I would enjoy one of the many dating services around to hopefully find my ideal man. I wondered what the dating services were like.

As soon as I arrived back home in England I had a look at my laptop. I searched for on-line dating services and found lots. On Simon's dating services for Professionals I saw some amazing profiles of lovely looking single gentlemen. I rushed into joining it as quickly as possible. I created my profile and uploaded a couple of photos of myself. I sent messages to three different men. Thomas was a solicitor from Surrey, Freddie was a computer programmer from Hampshire and George was a property developer from Kent. Each one wrote back to me and we arranged to meet up.

Thomas took me shopping in the morning and out to tea in the afternoon. He had ginger hair and blue eyes. He gave me a kiss goodbye that was really sweet.

Freddie took me to the cinema to see a romantic film. He had black hair and brown eyes. He bought me a single red rose. I thought he was a lovely guy with a warm heart.

George was the man of my dreams. He brought along a bunch of twelve red roses and kissed my hand. He took me out for a candle lit meal. He looked a little like my idol. I fell in love and it was at first sight. He became my husband three months after we met. That is how I met my darling George.
