I was having coffee with my friend, Evelyn, when I noticedhow rosy and happy she looked. She said that it was all down to a new man she had recently met. Now I know it is not easy find a good single man these days, especially since we both have very busy lives, so I asked her how she had been so lucky. Evelyn went on to tell me about a new internet dating site she had recently visited. I laughed, I though that Internet dating was really only for people who never went out to meet "real" people. Evelyn had explained that it was actually quite fun and you could meet all sorts of people, it was easy to register and she was contacted very quickly. She said that she had beenchatting online with this new man,who was actually quite local, for a few weeks. They had been discussing things that they were both passionate about and each conversation lasted for hours. They met up the day before at a coffee shop, Evelyn had said that not only was he well spoken and educated with lots in common, he was also stunningly gorgeous with beautiful soft brown eyes and a cute smile, just like his profile picture!

I decided that I could do with a little extra male company in my life so asked Evelyn if she could help me register myself on the Internet dating site she had been using. She took me through to the study and I nervously sat down in front of her computer. Shelet me look at her profile and then showed me a picture of her mystery man, she was right, he was gorgeous! We went to the site's home page to register my details. I felt really silly trying to write different things about my personality and what I would like from another person. Evelyn decided that she would write my introduction for me as she had already done hers. She finished writing about me then asked what I was looking for. I told her to say that I was looking for friendship, after all, I was new to this and didn't want to jump in. Evelyn had a photograph of me from our last night out, surprisingly it was a really nice picture, we used that picture to complete my profile. I wascontacted by a few people in almost straight away, now I just need to decide who to chat to first, maybe I could get more from Internet dating than I though!
